The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme is a government incentive that helps people lower their home heating costs through energy efficiency measures. These measures improve the ability of low income, fuel poor and vulnerable households to heat their homes. This includes actions that result in heating savings, such as the replacement of a broken heating system or the upgrade of an inefficient heating system.

* NB Storage batteries must be installed in conjunction with Solar PV

​How do I qualify for the ECO scheme?

To qualify for the ECO scheme, you or someone in your household, must:​

Own or privately rent your home, which has an EPC rating of D to G

Qualify for Universal Credits, Tax Credits, Child Benefit or another UK benefit allowance; please click here to see full list of qualifying criteria
